Tomo Hasebe
Composer Drummer Tomo Hasebe is a composer/drummer. He composes music for various art forms, and for his own projects. Also, called "an excellent drummer that makes music shine (by Oz Noy)," he is a versatile and skilled drummer. After graduation from Berklee College of Music in 2017, he moved to New York and got opportunities to play with top-notch jazz/fusion musicians there. He also had experiences to work with Pop/Rock/R&B singers, including British indie Pop icon Ebony Bones. As a composer, he made/performed music for advertisements, games, films as well, including "Every Mother Counts," and "Au Revior L'Ete." In 2019 he released a contemporary instrumental single "Christopher!" and album "aitch and emz." As a bandleader, he did all the compositions, arrangements and drum performances for it. This album's credits include Oz Noy, Evan Marien, Ole Mathisen, Isamu McGregor, and Mike Marciano. In 2022 he recorded and produced his second album between Berlin (Germany) and New York. Continuing working with Ole Mathisen and Oz Noy, he had Kurt Rosenwinkel, Casimir Liberski, Bjössi Klütsch, and Roberto Badoglio play on it as well. It will be released in 2024. |
